India's copper demand grows ~12% a year while domestic mines average roughly 0.8% Cu. That grade gap is exactly the problem pre-concentration was built for.

The Indian ore problem

Legacy copper districts — Malanjkhand, the Khetri belt — run grades that make conventional whole-ore milling marginal. Rajasthan hosts world-class lead-zinc (Rampura Agucha, Zawar), Andhra Pradesh the Mangampet barite deposit, Gujarat carbonatite-hosted fluorite. Across all of them the story repeats: large tonnage, modest grade, rising energy cost.

What pre-concentration changes

Rejecting 30–50% of barren mass before the mill cuts operating cost per tonne of metal by 40% or more and effectively expands mill capacity without new grinding lines. Our 0.20% Cu campaign (94.7% recovery, 38% rejected) is the direct template for Indian copper; the lead-zinc case (both metals >98% recovery) maps to Rajasthan-type ores; XRT dry sorting suits water-constrained sites in Rajasthan and Andhra.
